Responsibilities: UV unwrapping, texturing, model optimiying
My charge was to create 4 different historically accurate versions of this plane from an already existing model. During this process I also fixed several mesh errors to prevent rendering artifacts from the real time render engine.
The UV layout had to be efficiently spaced to provide the maximum amount of resolution allowed by the real time render engine. Allowed were 4 2k UV sets for the exterior. The interior was handled by another artist.
