Need For Speed – Most Wanted
Officially titled “Cinematic Artist” at Criterion/EA in Guildford, UK, I was responsible for, but not limited to, car animation, camera animation, render wrangling, post render effects, artistic and technical tweaks to the game engine for the requirements of the cinematic artists team, communication between games team and cinematic artists as well as problem solving and workflow development for the cinematic artists.
To visualize data flow that is happening in the background of the game engine I was tasked to create a tool in Houdini to quickly and easily drop it into a scene with as minor tweaks as possible. The idea was unfortunately put aside due to time constraints.
